Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 23, 2026

Shocking Electric Solutions, Inc. (“we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect when you visit shockingelectricsolutions.com, call or text us, or ask for an estimate, how we use it and the choices you have. If you have a question about this policy, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

Information You Give Us

When you fill out our contact or estimate request form, we collect the information you enter, which can include:

  • Your name, phone number and email address
  • Your service address
  • The type of service you need and your message describing the problem or project
  • Any photos you choose to attach

If you apply for a job through our Join Our Team page, we also collect the information in your application, such as your work experience, licensing and any resume or files you upload.

When you call, text or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you tell us in the conversation.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you give us only to:

  • Respond to your question or estimate request
  • Schedule, perform and follow up on electrical work
  • Send estimates, invoices, appointment reminders and service updates
  • Review job applications
  • Keep records required for our business, warranty and legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We only share it with service providers that help us run our business, such as our email, website hosting and scheduling providers, and only so they can provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Our form includes a hidden anti-spam field and a short time check to block automated spam. These do not collect extra information about you.

Cookies, Analytics and Advertising Tools

Like most websites, our site uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Some keep the site working, and others help us understand how visitors use the site and whether our advertising is working. The tools we use are:

  • Google Analytics (GA4). Shows us how visitors find and use our site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the general location (city or region), device and browser type, and whether a visitor called, texted or sent a form. Google provides this to us as reports. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Google Tag Manager. A tool that loads our analytics and advertising tags. It does not collect personal information on its own.
  • Google Ads conversion tracking. Tells us when someone who clicked one of our Google ads went on to contact us, and may be used to show our ads to people who have visited our site.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Helps us measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads and may be used to show our ads to people who have visited our site. Meta may connect this activity to your Facebook or Instagram account under Meta’s own privacy policy.
  • ClickCease. A click-fraud protection service that reviews clicks on our paid ads, using information such as IP address and device details, to detect invalid or fake clicks.
  • Website optimization tool (SearchAtlas). A search engine optimization service that helps us improve page titles, content and technical settings on our site, and may record basic page visit information.

These providers may set their own cookies and process information under their own privacy policies.

Maps and Online Booking

Some pages show an embedded Google Map of our location. When the map loads, Google may collect information about your visit under Google’s privacy policy.

Our “Schedule Online” and booking links take you to an online booking page hosted by Workiz, the scheduling service we use. Information you enter there is collected by Workiz on our behalf to book your appointment and is also covered by Workiz’s privacy policy.

Our pages also link to our social media profiles and review sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Your Choices and How to Opt Out

  • Cookies: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but some features may not.
  • Google Analytics: You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Google ads: You can turn off personalized ads at My Ad Center.
  • Facebook and Instagram ads: You can manage how Meta uses your activity in your Meta ad preferences.
  • Interest-based ads in general: You can opt out with many advertising companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance.
  • Texts and emails: If we send you texts or emails, you can reply STOP to a text or ask us to stop emailing you at any time.
  • Your information: You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it for the reasons explained below. Contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep customer contact information and job records for as long as we need them to serve you, support our warranty, handle billing and meet tax, legal and licensing record-keeping requirements. Estimate requests that do not become a job, and job applications, are kept only as long as reasonably needed and are then deleted. Form messages, including any photos or files you attach, are sent to us by email, and a copy is kept in our website’s private email log for up to one year so we can confirm messages were delivered, and is then deleted automatically. Analytics providers keep their data according to their own retention settings.

How We Protect Information

Our website uses a secure, encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to customer information to people who need it to do their jobs. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as payment card numbers or passwords through our website form.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our website, tools or practices change. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
